We have good transport links to Newcastle, Cramlington and Morpeth, if you wish to venture for some quality time out. We offer Skype via laptops and Ipad to stay in-touch with your loved ones whether here or abroad or just down the road. We have 24 years of experience in providing care for the elderly. The home was designed specifically for older people with varying and sometimes very complexes needs. The home has a large garden and patio area and also a courtyard for the services users to sit and enjoy in the better weather.
We accommodate up to 42 residents consisting of 8 silver rooms and 34 standard size rooms. All our rooms are en-suite and residents encouraged to bring in items of furniture and pictures to make it a home from home environment. There is no segregation in Woodlands with clients with or without dementia, only an understanding that these residents need added care and support with all their daily needs. We have daily activities within the home, from bingo to baking. We like to encourage the activities of daily living where possible to give a sense of belonging and self worth and promotes independence and well-being. Our aim is to provide a professional, high quality service, delivered with respect and assisting our clients to retain their dignity and well-being.
